OUR LOCAL MARKET
The Dyersville Downtown Market was founded in 2018 by the Dyersville Young Professionals and has become a community tradition thanks to the incredible support of local families, businesses, and sponsors. Designed to celebrate hometown pride, encourage entrepreneurship, and create welcoming experiences for all ages, the Market is about connection and supporting local.
Join us for our Saturday Markets and make a day of it with family and friends. Stroll through fresh local produce, enjoy delicious eats, browse unique finds from local boutiques, and soak in the small-town charm. Little ones can join in the fun too, with kid-friendly activities that make the Market an outing everyone can enjoy. Don’t forget to explore the wonderful downtown businesses just a few blocks away while you’re here! Each Market offers a free transportation option to visit shops downtown which can be picked up behind the stage in Legacy Square.
Every Market features a dynamic lineup of small businesses from Dyersville and surrounding areas, plus live music from talented local performers – bringing energy, flavor, and fun to every visit.

MARKET DETAILS
On behalf of our entire Dyersville Downtown Market committee, we want to thank you for joining us at our Downtown Market. We are hoping for this event to not only support the vendors, but also our entire downtown.
Q. Do I need to supply my own tables, chairs, tent, etc.?
A. YES, you are responsible to supply your entire set up.
Q. How big of a space do I get?
A. 10x10. Spaces will be first come first serve in regards to placement. Please note some spaces will be on GRASS only and others will be on concrete. Plan for either as spaces are not assigned. We ask that you get comfy with other vendors to ensure we have plenty of room.
Q. What if I need electricity?
A. We ask that you please bring your own quiet generator, as we are unable to supply generators to vendors.
Q. What time is the event?
A. The event will run from 8AM to 12PM -- as you all know people will arrive early and leave late.
Q. What time am I able to set up?
A. You are welcome to come anytime before 8. Someone will be there to help answer any questions or assist you at 7AM. Please note if you arrive before 7AM and don't match up with our layout, we may ask you to move your spot.
Q. Will I be able to shop around at the other vendors and downtown?
A. Of course!
Q. What if I only signed up for one of the markets, but would like to do more?
A. No problem, send us a message or email, or fill out the form again for the additional markets you want to attend.
Q. What if it rains? Will you still have it or cancel?
A. Our plan as of now is to either postpone to the next month or move forward with the event. We will certainly keep you posted. This is also very YOU based. If you don't feel comfortable coming, you don't have to as it is a FREE market. Keep an eye on our FACEBOOK for quick details.
Q. Where is the event?
A. The event will take place on the green space located in front of the Basilica in Dyersville or at the intersection of 3rd Ave SW and 2nd St SW.
Q. Where will I be able to park?
A. There will be plenty of vendor parking in the parking lot of the Basilica and Xavier Elementary school. We are hoping to leave all close parking to the paying customers of yours. Feel free to park close to unload and set up. We then ask you to move your trucks/vans and trailers unless part of your display to the parking lot described.
Q. Do I need insurance on the products I sell?
A. You are completely responsible for the products you sell, your booth, and your business. The Dyersville Downtown Market is not responsible.
Q. Where is the Winter Market Located?
A. It will always be held outside unless bad weather. If the weather is bad then we will hold the vendor portion of the market in the Xavier School gym.
